The Read Text Window

The Read Text Window contains a collection of controls at the top portion of the window, and a text display box on the lower portion of the window.

The text in the text display box can be edited. You can also use the Windows ctrl + v shortcut to paste other text (such as an email message, notes from the BibleWorks editor, or other text) into the text display box for reading. The button controls the reading of the text display box.

The Read Text Module contains the following controls, text input boxes, and text display boxes.

To read a single verse, enter the book name, chapter, and verse number. You can use the BibleWorks book name abbreviations when entering the book name.

Use this button to read the verses entered in the text input box. This is the button you will usually want to use to read the Bible text.

When this button is used, the text in the lower text display box is read. You can edit the text in the text display box, and use the Windows Ctrl + v shortcut to paste text into the text display box.
