The Collation Options window is used to set a variety if options that determine how the Mss Tab Collation Pane displays collated manuscripts.
Choosing which versions to collate
This list box allows you to select which versions are included in the collation. By default it included all installed manuscript transcriptions plus several Greek versions: Robinson-Pierpont, Scrivener, Westcott-Hort and NA27. The list contains all Greek versions that contain the New Testament. You can toggle the state of individual texts by clicking with the left mouse button. Use the SHIFT key with the left mouse button to select or deselect a range.
When the current verse is displayed in the collation pane, it is preceded by a list of manuscripts. The abbreviations used for this list are defined in a file called mslabels.txt located in the BibleWorks MSS folder, normally "c:\program files\BibleWorks 9\mss". You can edit this file in any text editor. Look at the samples in the file for examples of the necessary syntax.
Replace Nu Bar
If this flag is set nu bar characters will be replaced with a n.
Replace Nomina Sacra
If this flag is set, Nomina Sacra will be replaced by the equivalent full form. The list of Nomina Sacra is contained in "mss\wrd\Nomina.wrd" in the BibleWorks directory and is user editable.
Check for Moveable Nu
If this flag is set a check will be made for moveable nu. Forms with moveable nu will match the equivalent form with and without the nu. The list of forms with moveable nu is contained in "mss\wrd\moveablenu.wrd" in the BibleWorks directory and is user editable.
Replace MS Forms
If this option is checked the program will check to see if the word occurs in a list of equivalents or aliases. The list is contained in "mss\wrd\mss.wrd" in the BibleWorks directory and is user editable.
Freeze Ms List Column
If this option is checked the Mss list columns will not be frozen on the left side when you use the horizontal scroll bar on the collation pane.
