Collation Options

The Collation Options window is used to set a variety if options that determine how the Mss Tab Collation Pane displays collated manuscripts.

Choosing which versions to collate

This list box allows you to select which versions are included in the collation. By default it included all installed manuscript transcriptions plus several Greek versions: Robinson-Pierpont, Scrivener, Westcott-Hort and NA27. The list contains all Greek versions that contain the New Testament. You can toggle the state of individual texts by clicking with the left mouse button. Use the SHIFT key with the left mouse button to select or deselect a range.

When the current verse is displayed in the collation pane, it is preceded by a list of manuscripts. The abbreviations used for this list are defined in a file called mslabels.txt located in the BibleWorks MSS folder, normally "c:\program files\BibleWorks 9\mss". You can edit this file in any text editor. Look at the samples in the file for examples of the necessary syntax.
